Megayacht Shuttle

The first impression of your yacht starts at the quay.
The Maldivia 45 Superyacht Shuttle brings guests, luggage and supplies between yacht and shore in comfort, whatever the sea state. It is based on the Maldivia 45, a fast ferry built for the monsoon seas of the Maldives, and adds an air-conditioned limousine saloon, a bespoke finish matched to your yacht, and the range to follow it from one anchorage to the next. It runs on the same diesel as your yacht, or fully electric where ports demand zero emissions.
Proven at sea
The Superyacht Shuttle shares its hull with the Maldivia 45 ferry, which completed a week of open-sea trials in October 2026. It held 28 knots in 0.5–1 metre waves and 27 knots in 1–1.5 metre waves. In 1-metre waves it did not slam, and the captain never had to throttle back.
For a yacht's guests, that means a dry, calm ride to dinner ashore, even when a swell runs into the anchorage. For the captain, it means fewer cancelled transfers and no need to move the yacht closer to shore just to land guests.
Comfort worthy of your guests
The enclosed saloon is air-conditioned and sound-insulated, with large tinted windows for privacy and views. A gyro stabiliser reduces roll while waiting alongside or at anchor, and automatic interceptors keep the boat level as guests move around. A private head means guests arrive fresh, even after a long airport transfer.
On calm evenings, the open aft deck becomes a lounge for sunset runs and beach-club trips.
Boarding, luggage and logistics
Light enough to lift on board. With its carbon hull, the shuttle weighs only about 4–6 tonnes empty, far less than most boats of its length. On a megayacht, it can be lifted aboard by the yacht's crane and stowed on deck or in a garage, then launched wherever guests need it. On smaller yachts, it follows under its own power.
Dry boarding at any height. Four boarding points let guests step across to the yacht's swim platform, a high quay or a low pontoon. Heavy-duty soft fendering protects both boats when coming alongside.
Luggage out of sight. The patented central compartment below the saloon takes the luggage of every guest on board. Suitcases stay dry, out of the way and away from the guests.
Beach and shallow water. With a draft of less than 0.9 metres, the shuttle reaches beach clubs, shallow bays and small harbours that the yacht cannot.
More than a shuttle. Between guest transfers, it carries provisions, crew and water toys, or runs as a chase boat.
Layout
Limousine saloon: Up to 20 guests in club or lounge seating, with a refreshment bar and screens for the yacht's welcome film or safety briefing.
Helm: Forward, separated from the guest area, for a crew of two.
Head: A private washroom for guests.
Aft deck: Open lounge seating with shade, and space for luggage carts, provisions or diving gear.
Foredeck: Clear and safe for line handling, with optional bow boarding for beach landings.
Power and range
Standard: twin Diemmax S6 diesel inboards, 2 × 260 hp. The shuttle runs on the same diesel as your yacht, so there is no separate petrol to store on board. It cruises at 25 knots, reaches about 30 knots, and covers about 550 nautical miles on its 1,500-litre tank. That is enough to follow the yacht between cruising grounds under its own power.
Performance: twin Diemmax V12 diesel inboards, 2 × 520 hp. A top speed of about 42 knots for fast airport and heliport runs.
Lightest for lifting: 2 × 300 hp or 2 × 350 hp outboards”. It reaches about 34–36 knots, with a range of about 340 nm at 25 knots.
Electric: AEOMAR drive, 2 × 200 kW. Silent, zero-emission arrivals in ports and marine parks with strict rules. A top speed of about 31 knots and a range of about 40–55 nautical miles, enough for a day of shore transfers. It recharges from the yacht's or the marina's power supply.
All inboard drives sit inside protective nozzles, shielding the propellers from swimmers, ropes and floating debris.
Built light, finished to match
The Superyacht Shuttle is built from epoxy prepreg composites, the materials of offshore racing yachts. Its structure was developed with finite element analysis, and every laminate is reduced to what it needs to carry. The result is a strong, light boat that uses little fuel and responds quickly at the helm.
Every shuttle is finished to match its yacht: hull colour, deck material, upholstery, logos and interior trim are specified by the owner or the yacht's designer.
