MALDIVIA 45
FIRE FIGHTER

Fast Response Fire Fighting Vessel · IMO FiFi 1
When seconds define the outcome, the Maldivia 45 Fire Fighter is already on scene. Purpose-built for rapid fire suppression at sea, in port, and along the coast, this vessel combines exceptional speed, superior firefighting reach, and shallow-water access in one highly capable, low-maintenance platform.
SUPERIOR FIREFIGHTING RANGE
The remote fire monitor is mounted at height on the spoiler, giving it a commanding elevation advantage over conventional designs. The result is significantly greater throw range and a more effective attack angle — putting water and foam exactly where it needs to be, from a safe standoff distance.
PROTECTED COMMAND STATION
Steering and fire-fighting controls are positioned on the roof, keeping the crew elevated and clear of the worst conditions at the waterline. An optional hardtop transforms the flybridge into a fully protected command station, shielding operators from heat, radiant exposure, and spray during sustained firefighting operations.

FULLY ENCLOSED EMERGENCY CABIN
The reinforced, fully enclosed cabin provides a secure base for crew and integrates an emergency station as standard. The modular layout can be extended to increase internal space whenever a shorter working deck at the stern is acceptable — adapting the vessel to mission requirements rather than the other way around.
NOZZLE-PROTECTED PROPULSION
The Maldivia 45 FF runs its propellers inside protective nozzles, combining the debris-safe operation of water jets with greater propulsive efficiency and significantly lower acquisition, maintenance, and servicing costs. The aerodynamic superstructure reduces drag and fuel consumption further — delivering 40+ knots of speed alongside genuine long-range endurance.
SHALLOW-WATER ACCESS
With a draft of just 0.9 metres, the Maldivia 45 FF reaches where conventional fire boats cannot — marinas, river ports, shallow coastal waters, and congested harbour basins. The low stern profile supports an optional rescue platform, enabling rapid recovery of persons from the water as part of a combined fire and rescue response.

BUILT TO WITHSTAND WHAT IT FIGHTS
For the most demanding deployments, the Maldivia 45 FF is available with a hull constructed from fire-retardant epoxy prepregs — a vessel that actively resists the very conditions it operates in. Maximum structural integrity under extreme thermal stress.

Main Advantages at a glance
- The remote fire monitor on the spoiler is very high, means big range
- steering and fire fighting stand on the roof, can be protected with a hardtop
- fully enclosed cabin with emergency station, can be longer if less deck space needed at the back
- Propellers running in nozzles, full protected like water jets but more efficient and less costs/less maintenance
- very fast and long range, Aerodynamic superstructure -> low consumption
- access of flat water with 0,9m depth
- Low hight at stern, rescue platform as option
- Can be build with fire retardant epoxy prepregs
- Platform strategy -> lot of Speed and engine options
Why It Matters for Operators
Most vessels are built for one purpose and compromised when that purpose changes. The Maldivian 45 is built for change itself — so that a single asset can serve a morning commuter run, an afternoon dive charter, and an evening private event without modification, repositioning, or revenue loss.
The platform strategy is not a design philosophy. It is a commercial advantage.
