Meet the Maldivia 45 at Metstrade 2026

Solico Engineering will present the Maldivia 45 at Metstrade 2026 as a case study in lightweight composite structural design. The 13.88-metre fast ferry shows how finite element analysis and epoxy prepreg construction can produce a fully loaded vessel of 10–13 tonnes, about half the weight of comparable ferries.
MALDIVIA SHIPYARD has provided a scale model of the Maldivia 45 for the stand. Our team will be there throughout the show to discuss the design, the October 2026 sea-trial results, and the ferry, yacht, center console and superyacht shuttle versions built on the same hull.
