We have reached a moment we have been working towards for a long time — and we could not be more proud to share it. The Maldivia 45 hull mould is complete, and it is moving to our series production facility.

The Most Important Tool We Will Ever Build

Every Maldivia 45 that will ever be launched begins here. The hull mould is not just a production tool — it is the master reference for every dimension, every curve, and every performance characteristic of the vessel. Get it right, and every hull that follows is right. The pressure to deliver perfection at this stage is absolute — and that is exactly what the team has achieved.

This mould is built to last. Designed to withstand hundreds of production cycles while retaining its dimensional precision, it is engineered to endure one of the harshest conditions a composite mould can face: repeated oven curing cycles. Every hull baked at elevated temperature puts thermal stress on the mould itself — expansion, contraction, cycle after cycle. The material specification, the structural design, and the laminate schedule behind this mould are all chosen to absorb that stress without distortion, without degradation, and without any compromise to the hulls it produces. Hundreds of Maldivia 45s will emerge from this single tool — each one as accurate as the first. Eight Pieces. One Perfect Hull.

The geometry of the Maldivia 45 is uncompromising — and that complexity demanded an equally sophisticated mould architecture. The hull is produced in one complete piece, but to make that possible across such a technically demanding shape, the mould itself is constructed in four primary sections. Factor in the hull door sections, and the full assembly comprises eight individual mould pieces — each one precision-engineered, each one fitting to the others with zero tolerance for error.

Into Series Production

Moving the mould to the series production facility is the moment the Maldivia 45 crosses the threshold from development to reality. The engineering is done. The tooling is validated. The facility is ready.

First hull production begins now.
